POLYTRON QUESTIONS???
Recently we have received several inquiries regarding the now out of business POLYTRON water tank systems. For years POLYTRON relied on the WALTERS COMBO WATERMASTER-ICEPREVENTER to regulate water levels and prevent ice in their tank systems. They did build a high-quality product and sold incredible numbers of their tanks over their years in business. Unfortunately, they went out of business several years ago and as mentioned they used exclusively our WALTERS COMBO WATERMASTER-ICEPREVENTER IN THEIR systems. Now after some thirty years of use, some of our WALTERS COMBO units are showing some inevitable wear and tear. So as mentioned at the outset we have begun receiving numerous inquiries regarding the valves that were installed many years ago MAINLY, WILL OUR COMBO WATERVALVES WORK IN THEIR OLD POLYTRON TANKS?? Happily the short answer is A RESOUNDING YES!!! That being said, there are a few things to add to that YES!! The POLYTRON SYSTEMS were a type of molded material and used molded parts to connect to the WALTERS COMBO VALVES. We at WALTERS VALVES use no plastic in our valves so sometimes minor adjustments may be needed to place our all-metal valves in the older POLYTRON TANK systems. We have already replaced several of these valves for POLYTRON tank system users with nothing but positive responses.
So if you are one of those POLYTRON owners with an old WALTERS COMBO WATERMASTER-ICEPREVENTER in it and your system is getting weak or not working as it should, don’t despair. You don’t need to go out shopping for a new tank. Just call us and we can probably save you money and get your system working like new again!!!
