AN AMAZING WOMAN

First let me say that the author of this BLOG is BUD KELLER.

We have been getting feedback from some of our longtime customers that thought WALTERS WATER VALVES had gone out of business but that they are so glad we are still IN business. That said I must tell you that I had never heard of WALTERS WATER VALVES until I married the inventors daughter in 2021. So as you read this story try to imagine a Widow and orphaned woman that has just lost almost all of her circle of support.

It was shortly after we were married that I realized my new wife is even more AMAZING than the WALTERS WATER VALVES I was just beginning to learn about.

What most of her then customer base were unaware of is that over a period of about 12 years, Kelly had lost in death, both of her parents 3 brothers and her husband. Leaving her to continue the day to day operations of WALTERS COMPANY and a MOUNTAIN OF DEBT.

It was a MONUMENTAL TASK, and due to circumstances beyond her control, she was not able to actively expand and grow the business.. You can probably imagine the financial burden she was saddled with. Due to that enormous debt she was basically forced to offer marketing rights to another company so her literally thousands of customers could be cared for until she could pay all those debts heaped on her through the situation described at the outset.

She did through hard work and determination eventually pay off all the debts, (she never even considered bankruptcy) by working part time and full-time jobs as they came available and the payments she received for the marketing rights to the AMAZING WALTERS WATER VALVES, and by continuing to care for some of her existing customer base. By sheer determination and singleness of purpose she managed to save WALTERS WATER VALVES!!!

Back to the recent past. In 2021 after we were married and I began to learn about these AMAZING WATERVALVES AND especially the ICE PREVENTER (How I wish I had known about them when I had cattle and horses), we decided to restructure the business and Re-locate to Oregon. Since then, we have been able to expand our customer base, re-connect with many of the old customers and introduce our products to the Western United States where there are probably thousands of livestock producers, and large and small ranches, people with horses, sheep, goats even Llamas or Alpacas, that like myself have never heard of These AMAZING WATER VALVES and ICE PREVENTERS but are not real fond of the chore of breaking ice so their critters can get a drink.
