This month, we’re going to talk about our recent trip through California, Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado, Kansas, Oklahoma, Nebraska, South Dakota, North Dakota, Montana, Idaho, Washington, and Eastern Oregon. What a great time we had, and we made some amazing new friends along the way.
This was a business trip to meet some of our existing customers and introduce our amazing products to as many potential new customers as possible. We learned a lot about how our products can be of great value and benefit to different operations.
First, let’s look at Southern California, where water conservation is a critical issue. At some places we visited, we noticed a lot of mud around some of the stock water tanks. That could indicate a possibly faulty float system. In Southern California, they certainly don’t need our AMAZING WALTERS ICE PREVENTER system, but our WATER-MASTER float system, featuring our positive shutoff and two-stage valve, could save God only knows how much water. The same can be said for Southern Arizona and Southern New Mexico.
Some visitors who watched our video demonstrating how the COMBO WATER-MASTER AND ICE PREVENTER work didn’t realize that these units can be used independently of each other as well as in the combo! If you have a good float system but no way of preventing ice, our AMAZING ICE PREVENTER will work with any float system. It may require some additional adjustment, but it should work. We already have our AMAZING ICE PREVENTERS installed in a number of different brands of water tanks.
Next, let’s talk about electric stock tank heaters. We found, especially in the Midwest, that a lot of feedlots are using them. We priced them at several places and found they range in price from around $50 to $80. Then you have the added cost of electricity every month, and electricity costs are going up all the time. Compare that to the cost of our AMAZING WALTERS ICE PREVENTER at $99, with no increased costs to operate! Two problems solved with one AMAZING ICE PREVENTER—no escalating costs and no disruption of ice prevention when power outages occur.
I don’t know how much electricity costs have increased in the Midwest, but here in Oregon, our rates increased 12% just this year. With rates rising like this, it doesn’t take long for the AMAZING WALTERS ICE PREVENTER to pay for itself. So think about it, those of you in the Midwest. It may not be feasible to replace all of your electric tank heaters at once, but they do fail. That’s a good time to replace the faulty electric unit with the AMAZING WALTERS ICE PREVENTER. These units have a track record of keeping stock tanks ice-free down to minus 30 degrees for as many as 40 years without any issues. That’s why we call it the AMAZING ICE PREVENTER!
Last but not least, some feedlots are using continuous flow systems. Two issues are resolved by using the AMAZING WALTERS ICE PREVENTER! First, if the WEATHER GUESSER calls for freezing weather, someone has to go out and open all the petcocks on every water tank to start the water flowing. Then, when the temperature rises above freezing, someone has to go back out and close them. How many man-hours does it take to handle this situation? Not to mention how much water is being wasted. And what if the WEATHER GUESSER is wrong, and it doesn’t freeze? Now you have wasted water and unnecessary labor costs.
By installing the AMAZING WALTERS ICE PREVENTER, you eliminate wasted labor costs and needless wasted water because these units start and stop AUTOMATICALLY. When the temperature drops, the unit opens up, and when the temperature rises, it shuts off AUTOMATICALLY. Besides, you’re not creating unnecessary mud and muck that your livestock has to wade through just to get a drink!
So all things considered, the AMAZING WALTERS ICE PREVENTER is a wise choice for any operation, large or small. Save money by conserving resources, labor, electricity, water, and lower maintenance and/or replacement costs.
